New Project — Intake
Development is the only labor we track — consultation and corporate time is overhead.
Hours and costs are each time the work happens; how often multiplies them.
Labor cost
Other direct cost
Anything the project pays for that isn't our time — tools, hosting, licences, materials.
How the client pays. This changes when we invoice, never what the work costs or what we charge in total.
$
Be conservative with the counts. An optimistic subscriber ramp makes a bad project look good, and this is the number the verdict leans on hardest.

The cut comes off the booking, not off the venue. Growth compounds month on month, so keep it modest — 10% a month is already a tripling over a year.
Rate each 1–5. These are the judgment calls — the money side is already scored from the plan.
1 = off-mission · 3 = pays the bills · 5 = flagship work
1 = dead end · 3 = maybe repeatable · 5 = productizable
1 = no halo · 3 = solid client · 5 = marquee logo / referral engine
1 = unclear scope, new skills · 5 = we've done this before
